The chocolate brown dial of the Rolex Daytona 116515LN features Arabic numerals. Like all Daytona models, this one incorporates an engraved tachymeter on the bezel, a crucial element for the chronograph function. This scale, combined with the chronograph, enables precise measurement of 400 units per hour, whether in kilometers or miles, making the Daytona Cosmograph a timepiece tailored for racecar drivers. The central chronograph hand provides accuracy to within 1/8 of a second. Complementing the main chronograph hand are the 30-minute counter subdial at 3 o'clock and the 12-hour counter subdial at 9 o'clock. These two registers, along with the small seconds indicator at 6 o'clock, contribute to the distinctive and iconic Daytona design.
